A man in his 30s fell from a third-floor motel window in Dangjin, South Korea, while trying to evade police after allegedly staying overnight with a minor. The incident occurred after the minor’s parents alerted authorities.

According to the Dangjin Police Department, the incident took place at around 11:16 p.m. on July 5, when the police received a report from concerned parents who believed their underage daughter was staying at a motel with an adult male.
Police were immediately dispatched to the unmanned motel, where they knocked on the door of the suspected room. Inside, a man in his 30s, identified only as Mr. A, was staying with the minor. Upon realizing the police presence, he attempted to flee through the window.
Mr. A managed to hang from the third-floor window ledge, approximately 8 meters above ground, but eventually lost his grip and fell. Emergency responders, alerted by police, found him unconscious with suspected fractures and immediately transported him to a hospital. He is currently in stable condition and not in life-threatening danger.
Authorities plan to investigate the full circumstances of the incident once the man has recovered. The police will focus on determining the nature of the relationship between the man and the minor, the reason for their stay, and any potential criminal conduct.
A police spokesperson stated that measures are being considered to protect the minor involved and that the results of the investigation may lead to serious legal consequences depending on the findings.
