At around 5:05 p.m. on the 3rd, police received an emergency 112 call from a 14-year-old girl, identified as A. Although she did not provide specific details, officers heard screaming and someone shouting “Stop!” through the phone. Determining it to be an urgent situation, police immediately requested joint response support from the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and headed to the scene.

Responders arrived at 5:13 p.m. to find a man in his 20s, identified as B (26), lying in front of the motel after an apparent fall. Inside a third-floor room, they discovered A and two male teenagers, C and D, with severe stab wounds in the bathroom area.

A and C were transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but were pronounced dead. D sustained major injuries and is currently receiving treatment. B, who appeared to have jumped from the third floor after the assault, was also transferred to a hospital but died.
