Fun.의 2집 Some Nights

 

 펀 (영어: Fun)은 미국 뉴욕 시를 기반으로 더 포맷 출신 네이트 루스가 결성한 인디 팝 밴드이다. 2009년 "Aim and Ignite" 으로 데뷔를 했다. 그러나 데뷔 음반은 그다지 큰 성과가 없었다.

 

 2012년 2집 "Some Nights"를 발매했고, 이 앨범의 싱글앨범인 "We Are Young (Feat. Janelle Monae)"은 빌보드 핫100 6주간(3월 17일~4월 21일) 1위를 차지했다. 이 같은 인기로 이곡은 2013년 그래미시상식에서 "올해의 노래"를 수상하기도 했다.

 

 펀은 그래미시상식에서 공연을 했는데 당연히 "We Are Young"을 할 것이란 예상과는 다르게 "Carry On"이라는 곡으로 공연을 했다.

2집의 4번 트랙의 곡으로 보컬이 매력적인 곡이다.

 

이 공연에서는 마지막에 비가 내리는 퍼포먼스가 인상적이다.

 펀은 올해 한국에 내한한다. 지산에서 안산으로 장소를 이동한 밸리락페스티벌의 1차 라인업에 이름을 올렸다. 이 밴드의 라이브를 한국에서 볼 수 있는 기회가 찾아온 것이다.
