🔹 Porsche Falls From Banpo Bridge…Crashes Onto Mercedes on Riverside Expressway, Four Vehicles Damaged
The accident occurred at approximately 8:44 p.m. on the 25th of last month on Banpo Bridge in Seoul. The Porsche driven by A fell over the bridge railing onto a Mercedes traveling on the Riverside Expressway below before crashing near Jamsu Bridge.
Both A and the Mercedes driver, a man in his 40s, sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital. A total of four vehicles were damaged. Police have secured dashcam footage and nearby CCTV recordings to determine the cause and trajectory of the crash.
🔹 Propofol, Sedatives and Syringes Found Inside Vehicle
Investigators discovered large quantities of propofol injections, sedative anesthetics, and disposable syringes inside the vehicle.
Propofol is a prescription anesthetic used in medical settings for sedation and sleep induction and must be administered under strict medical supervision. Unauthorized possession or use may constitute violations of pharmaceutical and narcotics control laws.
Police have requested forensic analysis and blood concentration testing to determine whether A was under the influence of drugs while driving.
🔹 Influencer With 110,000 Followers…Promoted “Hospital-Specialized Database”
A is known as an influencer with approximately 110,000 followers and served as the head of a marketing agency specializing in hospital promotion.
The company advertised online that it possessed “specialized hospital data” and utilized “long-term hospital databases.”
A frequently posted content showing cosmetic and dermatological procedures received at clinics, with more than 250 related posts. However, the account was abruptly deleted three days after the accident.
🔹 Police Trace Drug Acquisition Route and Possible Hospital Links
Police are conducting searches and questioning company officials to determine how the drugs were obtained and identify the supply chain.
Authorities are also examining possible links to hospitals with which A had business relationships, including the possibility of pharmaceutical diversion from medical institutions.
Investigators are probing whether A was involved not only in drug use but also in distribution, and whether accomplices may be involved.
🔹 Dangerous Driving Causing Injury Under Review…Focus on Criminal Liability
Police are reportedly considering applying charges of dangerous driving causing injury, given the possibility that A was impaired by drugs and caused harm.
Such charges apply when a person drives while unable to operate a vehicle safely due to alcohol or drugs and injures others.
Legal experts suggest that if drug use, blood concentration levels, and causal links to the crash are established, detention and a custodial sentence cannot be ruled out.
